Musical Movie: Sweeyney Todd
My first experience with movie musical was a bad. How should I say? This movie is rated M18 for Singapore which I think is really generous for teens at age 18. It should be rated R21.
If you know what I mean? If its na**d girls.. LOL. M18 alright, but full throat cutting scene consider it as M18, ewwww....
In conclusion, it is a good show if you are watching a stage musical. But if they put in all the throat cutting, it just make it frightening. One is ok. BUT its alot of times.
Its a good movie that bring out fear to the audience. Serious. So I dont strongly recommend the movie to everyone but if you are in a sick mood and want to know what is this movie about, watch this movie. (I watch it because I thought it was just plain plot and murder movie, but.. never did I come to watch such fearsome movie).
Rating: 8/10 for the story plot.
2 points less is because of too gruesome.
