was the show that I watched just now. I know Ch 5 is showing Singapore Idol, The 3rd season of the Idol. I didnt watched because I prefered to watch something in mandarin.
So i shifted my view to CH U. It was showing 《向日葵的约定》! Its the 2nd film of the CH U feature film. All the film that screened on the channel starting last sunday to next sunday is created by Singaporeans!(I think)
This show is about a 19 year old girl name Shan Shan. She is an innocent and friendly girl who was born with mild intellectual disability (MID). She made a pact with her mom where the pact is meant to protect Shan Shan from any harm from outsiders. As the story develops, Shan encounter Wen Yuan who happens to be a slacker in life. A little help from Shan's attitude and innocence to life, Wen Yuan became a changed man.
The question is will both of them be together? Or will Shan's mom separate them?...
